Park Home Site licensing - Improving the Management of Residential Park Home Sites

The Department for Communities and Local Government have launched a consultation on the future licensing and management of mobile home sites. This builds on previous consultations, such as the proposal to increase the fine for operating a site without a licence from £2,500 to £20,000.

Some of the proposals include :

Interim licences
Site certification
Licence conditions
Enforcement notices
Annual licence fees
Interim and final management orders
A maximum fine of £50,000 for running a site without a licence

Criteria for determining that ;
a licence holder is a 'fit and proper person' and
suitable management arrangements are in place
