Indoor Sports

.

Where a sport is carried out indoors, a premises licence must be obtained from the local council or a temporary events notice given. The type of sport is irrelavent - everything from a swimming gala to a darts match and a game of tiddlewinks could need permission if there is a profit being made or the event is staged to entertain the public. One of the most important criteria is whether the sport is 'indoors' - sports stadia with roofs that close, for instance, are not regarded as being 'indoors'.

We can assist by dealing with the application process from beginning to the end, including the drafting of the application form, publicity and representing you in any hearings that might be required.
