In order for someone to legally sell alcohol in a place that has been licensed, they need to either hold a "Personal Licence" or be specifically authorised by someone else who holds one*.
In order to qualify for a personal licence, you must be aged 18 or over, not have any significant criminal convictions and must have successfully completed a recognised training course.
If you do have a criminal record, it might still be possible to obtain a licence. If you would like confidential advice on this, give us a call and we will let you know whether it is something that would be taken into account.
Applying for a licence involves a number of steps, including the application for a criminal records check. We can ease the process by completing the various forms for you and submitting them to the correct agencies - all you need to do is sign the forms and provide us with your training certificate and two signed photographs. If you would like us to undertake this work for you, download a form by clicking on the button below and then either post or e-mail it to us.
