Lionel Fynn
As Head of our Environmental, Planning and Licensing Departments, Lionel specialises in advocacy for liquor licensing and other tribunal matters and personally conducts appeals on substantial sites. He has extensive experience in Local Plan inquiries, compulsory purchase and Land Tribunal issues..
Over the years, he has developed our planning practice to incorporate substantial leisure sites, enforcement appeals, listed buildings, conservation areas, green belts and a wide range of public enquiries covering rights of way, disposal of waste and applications to determine ‘village green’ status. As an Associate Member of the Institute of Acoustics, Lionel is frequently consulted on noise and pollution matters. In addition, Lionel has been instrumentally involved in many Human Rights Act cases.
