.A Partner and Head of the Private Client Department, Simon qualified as a Solicitor in 1975 and was appointed a Notary Public in 1988. He is a member of the External Panel of Receivers for the Public Guardianship Office, a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Charity Law Association.
His work includes agricultural property and issues affecting farming businesses, charity law, Court of Protection, partnership, probate, tax planning, trusts and wills. In particular, Simon’s areas of specific interest relate to the incorporation and management of charities and issues arising from partnership and family shareholdings. He is also constantly engaged in related matters of probate, trusts and wills, disputes relating to deceased’s estates, and tax planning issues.
